Human rights and gender justice

All around the world women are confronted by discrimination, inequality and other challenges to their human rights. Gender justice has been one of the foundational research pillars of the Australian Human Rights Institute since its inception, with a focus on applied solutions to human rights violations around the world, including tackling issues such as women's health and wellbeing, online safety, responses to sexual assault and harassment, and women's representation in politics.
