The Australian Journal of Human Rights (AJHR) is seeking expressions of interest for two Current Perspectives Associate Editors as part of the Journal’s Editorial Board.
The AJHR is Australia’s premier journal in the field, committed to interdisciplinarity and a wide range of perspectives.
The successful candidates will work with the Current Perspectives Editors to oversee the Current Perspectives section of the AJHR. Their roles and responsibilities include secondary reviewing of submissions, collaborating on decisions about publication, and encouraging the contribution of papers.
Expressions of interest are invited from academics at early career stage or above. The positions will commence in August 2026 for a three-year term, renewable for an additional two years. Editorial positions are honorary appointments.
In addition, as part of the AJHR’s Editorial Team, the Current Perspectives Associate Editors contribute to decisions about the Journal’s operations, policies and strategies.
